Hello! My name is Brandin. I’m a standby/non-rev traveler, and I have used this family work privilege in tandem with a shoe-string budget to visit over 40 countries and all seven continents. My travels began in 2015 with a study abroad trip to London, and I have had an obsessive wanderlust ever since. Some of my all-time favorite travel memories include the Mt. Bromo viewpoint hike in Java, hiking to the Mt. Shkhara glacier in Georgia, living for three months in Sydney (Australia), and journeying through far eastern Turkey with a rental car.

Professionally I am a trained classical violist and visual artist — I hold degrees from the University of Miami and the Lawrence University Conservatory of Music. Performance highlights include Berlioz’s Symphonie Fantastique on tour with the New World Symphony Orchestra at Carnegie Hall; Copland’s Appalachian Spring at the Tanglewood Music Festival; and a month with my viola/piano duo on the Holland America cruise line 2020 Grand World Voyage.
